The Coffee House's 40th Anniversary Concert a big success!

Well over 135 people packed into The Coffee House last Saturday night to celebrate 40 years of folk music and volunteer activism. The performers sang old favorites from the 60s and new songs, and a marvelous time was had by all. WorkingWriter mentioned Jym's performance in his blog: "Agnes Zeidler, lifelong companion of the late Mayor, was honored for her role in getting The Coffee House started back in the day. She attended with friends and several family members, and was able to stay for Jym Mooney's fabulous tribute to Frank Zeidler, which starts out with a lyric something like this: 'He was a politician / and he was an honest man / a combination rare to find these days.' The Zeidlers were not the only ones moved." You can read the entire review at http://www.onmilwaukee.com/myOMC/blog/show/579
