From the recording Peace Light
This song started out as a children’s song for my class of disabled and non-disabled kindergarteners to perform at a holiday program. Children who were unable to speak pushed switches that lit up battery-operated candles while their classmates sang the words. There is a light in each of us — no matter what our abilities are.
