Faith is evident in music all around us. We think naturally, of liturgical music, but many of the songs we are drawn to resonate with our personal beliefs and spirituality. Milwaukee folk musicians, Barb and Tom Webber, members of Our Lady of Lourdes, join Jon Pagenkopf and Chris Straw, members of Kenwood United Methodist, to share an evening of Songs of Faith and Harmony. Music will include traditional and contemporary inspirational songs from the gospel, bluegrass, country, folk, blues, and acoustic singer-songwriter genres. Jon and Chris are members of the popular folk group, the Moxie Chicks. Come and listen or sing along.
All proceeds will benefit the OLOL Music Ministry. Advanced tickets are $8. $5 for seniors and students. Children under 12 free. Tickets may be purchased at OLOL during business hours, after liturgies at OLOL on Sundays January 22 through February 12th. Also, a free will donation of a nonperishable food item for the food pantry is appreciated.
